Asus Eee PC 1201N Netbook
Netbooks are finally getting interesting. I really want this. 12” Display, dual core Intel Atom, Nvidia ION, and supposedly >8 hrs battery life are almost too good to be true.

My classmate in German class has this.
ME WANTS. SO BAD.

Sure that it’s the 1201n? Asus has other similar looking netbooks. The big pluses here are really what I mentioned. The most important being the dual core processor (most netbooks do still have the now ancient single core Atom), and the Nvidia ION graphics. ION has much better performance then what you usually see. It makes HD video and light gaming (Sims 3 *hinthint*) possible.
(It’s also an October.09 release. Some resellers appear to offer it already, but it’s not generally available yet)
