Alright, I’ve made up my mind. The new album is awesome. In some ways it’s actually better than Discouraged Ones. But it needs quite a few listens for full effect.

From the new Katatonia Album “Night is the New Day”. I’ll not comment on the music because I haven’t listened to the album much yet, but the video is kinda sucky. Using every dark-and-creepy-music-video cliché in the book does not make for a good video. Go figure.
My first thought was something along the lines of “this is what happens if you buy music videos on istockphoto.com”.

The new Radiohead video for the song “House of Cards”. I waited for this since they announced it, but I’m honestly a bit disappointed by it.The visuals seem dull and I’m not sure anyone will get too excited about the technical aspects nowadays. They released the 3D data together with the video, so other can try their hand at a visualization. Let’s see… (code, data and video on Google Code)
